I had a very good meeting with the agency this morning. Agencies are not all the same. Some are crap, some are decent. I genuinely felt this one was decent.
I was there a full hour and had a really good in-depth discussion. I really liked the lady I was dealing with. They have an extremely attractive client list (magic circle / big 4) and, following a conversation with a colleague of the consultant I met today - have already been put forward to a major law firm and a major consultancy house. Good salaries and good roles.
I’m excited; genuinely. I finally feel as if the wheels are moving and that change is on the cards. It’s so, sooo overdue. Of course, this means that in my current job I am struggling like mad to remain motivated. But we knew that would happen.
